Ive bought 5 rods in the past 2 years and every one of them have been ugly stiks. Great quality for an amazing price, it just cant be beat! If you’re on the fence about it dont be just buy it.

6 Years Later — Still My Go-To Rod, Love Ugly Stik!
I’ve owned my Ugly Stik GX2 6'6" for six years now, and it has been absolutely rock solid. This rod has handled everything I’ve thrown at it — bass, pickerel, pike — and it’s never let me down. The durability is outstanding. It’s taken bumps, long casting sessions from shore, and plenty of fish fights without any issues. What I appreciate most is the balance of strength and sensitivity. It’s tough enough to handle bigger fish, yet I can still feel subtle bites. For the price point, I honestly don’t think there’s a better rod on the market. I’m so impressed that I’m about to buy more for my wife and adult kids. When you find something that works this well and lasts this long, you stick with it. Ugly Stik makes some of the best rods for the money — high quality, reliable, and built to last. Highly recommended.

Excellent Quality and Reliability
I've purchased ugly stik rods for the last 20 years. I've never managed to break one. Only time I saw someone break one was my brother closing the tailgate on the rod tip. They last for years and are excellent quality.
