Crappy reel
The reel is barebones minimum in order to catch a fish. The rod is great but note that its the old model gx2, not the new one. The new one feels firmer and built better with slightly different features do your research before buying. In my opinion it's worth it to buy the new gx2 combo over this rod and reel, though you're getting what you pay for when you buy this. Overall the reel is crap, the rod is alright.
